Drive-Through Food Pickup Only:

Please make sure your trunk is empty

What to Bring:

Besides normal identification, we ask that our clients bring something recent that has their current address on it.  This can be something like a water or electric bill, rental agreement or other documentation that shows that they live in the area that we serve.  We also update our files with the number who live in the household, so they may need to bring proof of those who reside with them, such as birth certificates, Social Security cards, Medicaid cards, or other identification.  We do not keep this information but look at it to verify our count to make sure we are giving the correct amount of food for the household.  They do not have to bring proof of income but will have to verify their status or income verbally and sign an eligibility form.

Income Qualifications for TEFAP Clients:

We are an emergency food pantry and always provide assistance to each family or person who stops in.  However, to receive the portion provided through TEFAP (the 25 to 30 percent we receive from the federal government), our clients must meet certain income criteria.  Currently, the guidelines are as shown below:

Effective October 1, 2022 through September 30,2023

(Household gross income must be at or below for appropriate size household)

Household SizePer YearPer MonthPer Week
1$27,192$2,266$523
2$36,624$3,052$704
3$46,080$3,840$886
4$55,512$4,626$1,068
5$64,944$5,412$1,249
6$74,400$6,200$1,431
7$83,832$6,986$1,612
8$93,264$7,772$1,794
Each Additional Family Member(+$9,456)(+$788)(+$182)

The above table shows a yearly gross income for each family size. If your household income is at or below the income listed for the number of people in your household, you are eligible to receive food. A household is defined as a group of people who live together and share money and other resources in order to get food. OR, if you currently participate in a Food and Nutrition Services Program (i.e. Food Stamps) you are automatically eligible to receive TEFAP and do not need to look at the income scale.
